Summary
With one corps per side the odds were never very good for
the Spanish
Their militia did well to start, holding their section of
the town for two moves
However the luck of dice was not in favour of the Spanish
The first time the French gunners fired they hit the
infantry square
They rolled a one on a D6 and routed
The nearby gunners also rolled one on a D6 and joined the
rout
A second French brigade joined the attack on the village
and the milita routed
Total casualties, including from earlier battles, at the end of the battle
Spanish 2400 casualties and five brigades in rout
French 2800 casualties
