16th March 1814 – Start of Leitza Phase – British




Bayonne Campaign Area
Fifth French Army is commanded by Marshal Soult
Anglo-Portuguese Army is commanded by Lord Wellington
Each Army has 64,000 infantry, 4,000 cavalry and 120 guns



Leitza Campaign Area
The Leitza Phase is the fourth part of the Bayonne Campaign
The objective is to take and hold the towns of San Sebastian and Monreal
