9th April 1814 – Campaign Diary

First French and Prussian both rest and resupply
Second French win Bad Kreuznach campaign
Third French retreat after battle of Arracourt
Fourth French and Bavarians both advance
Fifth French and British break contact after battle
Sixth French and Spanish fight battles of Olot and Angles
First French and Prussian Army 
Both armies rested and resupplied
Second French and Russian Army
The main Russian Army rest, rally and reorganise at Oppenheim
The French about turn and march west to reopen their lines of communication
2nd Russian corps is unable to hold Oberstein and retreats south towards Ramstein.
The French retreat results in a Russian victory


Third French and Austrian Army
Austrians regroup and French retreat after battle of Arracourt 

Fourth French and Bavarian Army
Both armies advance, but there is no contact
Fifth French and British Army
Both armies break contact following battles of Savaltiere and Kurutze
Sixth French and Spanish Army
Battle of Olot
Encounter battle at  Olot
Both armies on attack or engage orders
Spanish 43600 infantry, 1000 cavalry and 90 guns
French 24000 infantry, 2000 cavalry and 60 guns
Spanish lose and retreat towards Ripoll

Both corps on engage orders
Spanish 12000 infantry, 1000 cavalry and 30 guns
French 12000 infantry, 1000 cavalry and 30 guns
