25th March 1814 – Battle of Rougemont

Five Bavarian corps launch a surprise attack on Rougemont

However all five of his corps are concentrated around Rougemont
16th French corps is five miles from the battlefield and will not arrive until move 5
The late arrival of 16th corps give the Bavarians a considerable advantage.
The Bavarians gunners perform better than the French
The French centre and right flank break before 16th corps can be deployed
Marmont orders a general retreat

Total casualties, including from earlier battles,  at the end of the battle

Bavarian 6,100 casualties and three brigades in rout
French 3,400 casualties and two brigades in rout
